Noodle Casserole
- 2 lb. pork steak, cubed
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 tsp. all-purpose seasoning
- 1 can condensed mushroom soup
- 1 c. Italian cheese, grated
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. diced celery
- 8 oz. thin noodles
- dash of pepper
- 1 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. bread crumbs
- Brown steak in butter.
- Add small amount of water.
- Simmer until tender.
- Add small amount of water to onion and celery. Cook until nearly tender.
- Cook noodles until tender, drain, rinse and drain.
- Combine meat, onion, celery, noodles, seasoning, soup and water.
- More water may be added, if mixture seems too thick as it bakes.
- Pour into greased casserole.
- Cover with cheese, bread crumbs and butter.
- Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 1 hour.
- Remove lid; bake 15 minutes longer.
- Serves 8.
