Scripture Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
  2. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
  4. Sift together the next 7 ingredients and add alternately with the milk to the batter.
  5. Stir in honey and fold in the fruits and nuts.
  6. Mix well. Bake in 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pans for 1 hour or until done. Cool 30 minutes before removing cakes from pans to rack to finish cooling.
