Frosty Crinkles
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 c. dark seedless raisins, chopped
- 1/2 c. California walnuts, chopped
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/3 c. milk
- 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- confectioners sugar
- Into large bowl, measure all ingredients except confectioners sugar.
- With mixer at medium speed, beat ingredients until well mixed, occasionally scraping bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
- To bake, preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle confectioners sugar until heavily coated; place about 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
- With pancake turner, remove cookies to racks; cool.
- Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
