Pineapple Dream Cake

  1. Prepare vanilla pudding and cool thoroughly.
  2. Sift flour, sugar and salt together.
  3. Cut in margarine and egg yolk with pastry blender until well mixed.
  4. Firmly press mixture onto a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch cookie sheet and bake at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Mix cooled vanilla pudding with drained crushed pineapple and spread over baked crust.
  7. Prepare Dream Whip according to directions on package and spread over pudding mixture.
  8. Sprinkle with nuts.
  9. Cut into squares.
  10. Chill.
  11. (This recipe may be cut in half.)
