Radish Dip
- 1 c. plain low-fat yogurt
- 1 c. halved radishes
- 3 Tbsp. reduced calorie mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp. hot sauce
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 sliced radish (optional)
- Spoon plain low-fat yogurt onto several layers of heavy-duty paper towels.
- Spread to 1/2-inch thickness.
- Cover with additional paper towels and let stand 5 minutes.
- Scrape into a small bowl, using a rubber spatula and set aside.
- Position knife blade in food processor bowl.
- Add radishes and pulse 5 times or until coarsely chopped. Add mayonnaise and next 3 ingredients and pulse 5 times or until combined. Add to yogurt. Stir well.
- Cover and chill.
- Garnish with sliced radish, if desired.
- Serve with assorted vegetables, such as steamed asparagus, steamed green beans, carrot strips, sliced yellow squash and sliced radishes. Yields 1 1/4 cups.
