Winter White Chili

  1. Soak beans in water overnight.
  2. In the morning, discard water and wash beans.
  3. Put beans and 6 cups water in crock-pot.
  4. Dice onion and garlic and add to crock-pot.
  5. Add salt, pepper and green chili.
  6. Cube turkey breast and put into pot.
  7. (Use jalapenos for extra zip, if you dare.)
  8. Cover and cook on high for six hours, watching to make sure the beans don't dry up.
  9. Add water as needed. Cook beans for as long as it takes for them to get soft.
  10. This is excellent the second day, too.
  11. Serve with hot corn bread.
