Festive Baked Ham

  1. Combine apple cider and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Set aside.
  2. Remove skin from ham.
  3. Place ham, fat side up, on a cutting board.
  4. Score fat in a diamond design and stud with cloves.
  5. Place ham in a shallow baking pan, fat side up; coat top with brown sugar.
  6. Insert meat thermometer, making sure it does not touch fat or bone.
  7. Bake, uncovered, at 325u0b0 for 22 to 25 minutes per pound, about 2 hours, basting every 20 to 30 minutes with cider mixture.
  8. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
  9. Serve sauce with sliced ham.
