Two Meat Spaghetti Sauce
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 6 ounces sliced pepperoni
- 1 cup water
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained (optional)
- 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 3/4 - 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- In a large skillet, cook beef and pepperoni ( this is when I added the onions ) over medium heat until beef is no longer pink,drain.
- Return meat to skillet and add rest of ingredients.
- Bring sauce to a boil and reduce to a simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes.
- Serve over your favorite pasta.
