Neiman-Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
- 2 c. butter
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 5 c. blended oatmeal (measure and blend in a blender to a fine powder)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 24 oz. chocolate chips (Hershey's semi-sweet)
- 1 (8 oz.) grated Hershey chocolate candy bar
- 3 c. nuts
- 4 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- Cream the butter and both sugars.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda. Add chips, candy and nuts. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour.
- Roll into balls and place 2-inches apart on cookie sheet.
- Bake for 6 minutes at 375u0b0.
- Makes 112 cookies.
- Recipe can be halved.
