Seafood Gumbo

  1. In Dutch oven, saute garlic, onions and green pepper in oil. Add okra, tomatoes, water and salt;
  2. boil.
  3. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp to Dutch oven; stir.
  5. Return to a boil, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Add crabmeat, oysters and parsley to shrimp mixture.
  7. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  8. Remove bay leaf.
  9. Ladle gumbo into 8 individual bowls, stir gently to mix all ingredients.
  10. Serve with crackers.
