Strawberry Pretzel Dessert
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, partially defrosted
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
- 2 c. coarse, crushed pretzels
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 small container whipped topping
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add cold water.
- Add berries and set aside to cool.
- Do not refrigerate.
- Cream 3 tablespoons sugar with margarine; add pretzels.
- Press in 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake 10 minutes at 350u0b0; cool.
- Blend cream cheese with powdered sugar.
- Add whipped topping.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust and let firm up in refrigerator.
- When cream cheese mixture firms, top with strawberry mix and refrigerate overnight.
