Crab Apple Chili
- 1 lb. crabmeat
- 3 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 large Spanish onion, chopped
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 tsp. sea salt
- 3 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/4 c. Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. curry
- 1 c. applesauce
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 2 large cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 (4 oz.) jar peppers and green chilies (Old El Paso)
- In large saucepan brown beef, pork and add Worcestershire sauce.
- Drain fat and simmer.
- In separate pan combine all other ingredients, then add meat mixture and simmer for 1 hour.
- One large can of kidney beans is optional.
