Buttered Barbecued Shrimp

  1. In 1-quart saucepan, melt butter. Stir in onion, catsup, water, Worcestershire sauce, lemon peel, lemon juice, sugar and mustard.
  2. Simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Thread shrimp on skewers.
  4. Place shrimp in a shallow dish.
  5. Pour marinade over shrimp.
  6. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour or refrigerate overnight.
  7. Broil 4 to 5-inches from source of heat about 5 minutes on each side, brushing occasionally with marinade. Serve with hot rice and remaining marinade.
