Old Fashioned Meat Loaf
- 4 slices fresh white bread
- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. celery salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. catsup
- Heat oven to 400u0b0.
- Tear bread into crumbs.
- Beat eggs slightly.
- Add chuck and mix lightly.
- Add crumbs, onion and pepper.
- Mix lightly to keep juicy.
- Add milk, salt, mustard, pepper, 1/4 cup catsup and Worcestershire.
- Mix lightly.
- Put into shallow baking pan.
- Make 2 grooves on top of loaf and fill with remaining catsup.
- Bake 50 minutes.
- Makes 8 servings.
