Whole Wheat Cranberry Bran Bread

  1. Combine flours, bran cereal, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and nuts; mix well.
  2. Combine cranberries and granulated sugar.
  3. Stir sugared cranberries, egg, milk, orange juice and margarine into flour mixture all at once, but only until mixed.
  4. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
  5. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  6. Bake in oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until firm in center.
  7. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove to rack and cool on long side before slicing.
  8. Freezes well.
  9. Makes 1 loaf.
