Chocolate Meringue Pie

  1. Combine
  2. cocoa, sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan. Add milk
  3. slowly,
  4. stirring
  5. well.
  6. Cook
  7. and stir constantly until mixture
  8. comes
  9. tot
  10. boil
  11. and is thickened.
  12. Stir in beaten egg yolks, onett
  13. a time.
  14. Cook, stirring constantly, about 3 minutes longer.
  15. Remove
  16. from
  17. heat; stir in margarine and vanilla.
  18. Cool slightly.
  19. Pour
  20. into shell. Beat egg white until foamy
  21. throughout.tdd
  22. sugar.
  23. Blend
  24. well.
  25. Continue until meringue will stand in stiff peaks.
  26. Pile lightly on pie filling. Bake in oven at 425u0b0 until light brown.
