Fruit Cake

  1. Cream butter until fluffy.
  2. Add sugar, one cup at a time, add 12 eggs, one at a time, cream well after each addition.
  3. Add baking powder and vanilla.
  4. Add 5 cups of flour, one at a time, add milk and beat well.
  5. Save 1 cup flour for fruit mixture.
  6. Chop fruit and put into large bowl, add remaining 1 cup flour, mix well.
  7. Pour batter over this mixture.
  8. Line pans with foil and grease.
  9. Use 2 tube pans or 1 tube pan and small pan.
  10. Bake at 250u0b0 for 3 hours.
