Sausage And Cheese Brunch Tarts

  1. Heat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Generously grease 12 (2 1/2 x 1 1/4-inch) muffin cups.
  3. Cook and stir sausage until brown; drain.
  4. Mix baking mix and margarine.
  5. Add boiling water.
  6. Stir vigorously until soft dough forms.
  7. Press 1 level tablespoon dough on bottom and up sides of each cup.
  8. Divide sausage evenly among cups.
  9. Beat half and half and egg.
  10. Stir in onions and salt.
  11. Spoon about 1 tablespoon into each cup.
  12. Sprinkle cheese over tops.
  13. Bake until edges are golden brown about 25 minutes.
  14. Refrigerate.
