Seven Layer Banana Split Cake
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 4 to 6 sliced bananas
- 1 c. sliced strawberries
- 2 c. whipped topping
- 1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
- Cut margarine into flour until crumbly.
- Press into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 400u0b0.
- Beat powdered sugar, egg whites and softened margarine until smooth.
- Spread on cooled layer.
- Drain pineapple.
- Spread over second layer.
- Slice bananas and distribute over the pineapple.
- Slice the strawberries and spread over the bananas.
- Spread the whipped topping over the strawberries.
- Sprinkle the nuts over the whipped topping layer. This serves 12 to 15.
