Ground Beef Cordon Bleu
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable flakes or seasoning to taste
- 8 thin slices Canadian bacon or smoked ham
- 8 "finger-sized" strips Swiss cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- parsley flakes
- Add seasonings to beef; mix well and divide into 8 equal portions.
- Form into 8 patties 1/4-inch thick.
- Place a slice of bacon on each; add a slice of cheese.
- Roll each portion, sealing all edges.
- Roll in flour.
- Brown in skillet with small amount of oil (or Pam).
- Place browned rolls in baking dish.
- Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the meat rolls.
- Sprinkle with parsley flakes.
- Bake, covered, for 25 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Remove cover and bake an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve with egg noodles, rice or potatoes.
