Pizza Crust(Using A Pizza Stone Makes A Nice Brown Bottom Crust)
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour or half bread flour
- 1 pkg. RapidRise yeast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. warm water (120~)
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- Place flour, yeast, salt and sugar in food processor and pulse a few times to combine.
- Add oil to warm water.
- With machine running, add water slowly through feed tube until dough forms a ball.
- Process a few more seconds to knead.
- Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top and cover.
- Let rise while you chop the vegetables.
- Our favorites are onions, green peppers, pineapple tidbits (drained) and pepperoni (sliced thin).
- Punch dough down and form or roll into circle.
- Place on pizza pan that has been oiled and sprinkled with cornmeal.
- Add pizza sauce, toppings and cheese of your choice.
- Bake and serve.
- Makes 8 pieces.
