Salsa Sauce
- 2 (small) cans tomato sauce
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes
- 2 cans Ro-Tel
- 2 garlic pods
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 bell pepper
- 1 large jalapeno pepper
- 1 pickled banana pepper or other
- salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/8 tsp. red cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Stir the mixture, then fill to the 1/2 cup line with apple cider vinegar, then fill to the 1 cup line with ketchup.
- Melt 1 stick margarine in saucepot.
- Add seasoning and 1/2 cup water; simmer in saucepot until thick (about 5 minutes).
- Stir constantly. The sauce stores in refrigerator.
