Strictly Hamburger Hobo Pie(Foil Cooking For 1 Person)
- 1/5 to 1/4 lb. hamburger (do not buy soybean loaded meat; it won't work; pure hamburger only)
- 1/2 Idaho potato, sliced thin (that's plenty)
- 1 carrot, sliced thin
- 1/4 onion, sliced thin (how many carrots and onions can one person eat?)
- 2 dashes salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 Tbsp. catsup (or more if you like; it won't hurt)
- dash of mustard (no more please)
- 2 shakes Worcestershire sauce (that's enough)
- 2 slices green pepper, chopped
- 2 mushrooms, sliced (fresh, not canned)
- 1 small nib jalapeno pepper (for those who like it)
- 1 Tbsp. water (optional; the catsup, etc. will add all the moisture you need)
- Break up hamburger (avoid lumps).
- Slice potato fine and dice. Same with carrot.
- (Do not peel or shave carrot; all the vitamins are in the top surface.)
- Chop pepper, mushrooms and onion.
- Add condiments and mix.
- Throw whole mixture in pouch.
- Cook 18 to 20 minutes directly on charcoal fire.
- Peel off fold like a zipper; open and eat!
- ("Hey, isn't this just great!")
