Chocolate Dream Note Cake

• 1 chocolate cake mix
• 1 c. finely chopped walnuts
• 1 c. chocolate chips
• 1 c. vanilla ice cream, softened
• 1/4 c. softened butter or margarine
• 3 eggs
• frosting (optional)
• chocolate syrup (optional)
• cherries (optional)

1. Mix chocolate cake mix, 1 egg and 1/4 cup butter only! Use a 13 x 9 x 2-inch cake pan, greased.
2. Spread mixture over bottom of pan.
3. Sprinkle chopped nuts over top and bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
4. While cake is baking, beat 2 eggs and vanilla ice cream together until foamy.
5. After 10 minutes, pull cake from the oven and sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips over the top.
6. Pour ice cream and egg mixture over chocolate chips.
7. Bake another 30 to 35 minutes.
8. I use 7 minute frosting and drip chocolate syrup and cherries over the top.
