Ham And Cheese Omelet
- 2 eggs
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 2 tsp. canola oil
- 2 Tbsp. diced cooked ham
- 2 Tbsp. shredded cheese
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- Combine eggs, salt,
- pepper
- and
- milk; whisk until egg mixture is blended.
- Heat an 8-inch Teflon skillet over medium heat until hot enough
- to
- sizzle a drop of water.
- Add canola oil,
- rotating pan to
- coat
- bottom
- with
- oil.
- Pour
- in
- egg mixture.
- As mixture starts to cook, gently lift omelet with a spatula and tilt
- pan
- so
- uncooked
- portion flows underneath. When done, sprinkle half
- of
- the omelet with the ham, cheese, onion and green
- pepper.
- Fold
- omelet
- in
- half and carefully remove to serving plate.
- Serves 1.
