Monkey Bread

  1. In a large
  2. bowl
  3. dissolve yeast in warm water or milk. In a medium-sized saucepan melt butter in milk, bring to boil. Remove from stoveto
  4. cool
  5. to
  6. lukewarm.
  7. Add
  8. to yeast with sugar, salt and
  9. eggs (slightly beaten).
  10. Mix well.
  11. Gradually add enough flour to
  12. make
  13. a
  14. soft
  15. dough.
  16. Let rise to double (about 2 to 3 hours).
  17. Punch
  18. down
  19. and
  20. knead for 5 minutes. Form into small balls
  21. fortound rolls or roll out on floured board and cut with a
  22. biscuit cutter and fold over for Parker House rolls.
  23. Let rise totoubletaboutt to 1 1/2 hours). Bake at 375u0b0 until golden brown.
