Fresh Plum Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350/180/Gas 4 and grease a round 9 inch/24cm pan.
  2. Toss chopped plums (or other fruit) with 1 tablespoon flour.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and set aside.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese to soften then beat in brown sugar.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, beating throughly after each addition.
  6. Add half the flour mix to the cheese mix and fold then add the yogurt and stir to combine.
  7. Add the rest of the flour mix and beat until smooth.
  8. Fold in the floured plums.
  9. Spread batter into prepared pan and bake for around 30 minutes.
