Savory Beef Noodle Bake
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 cans tomato sauce (8 oz.)
- 1 c. sour cream
- 6 green onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.), room temperature
- 8 oz. pkg. medium noodles, cooked
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Melt butter in skillet on medium heat.
- Add ground chuck, brown lightly.
- Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, sugar and tomato sauce.
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Blend in cream cheese and sour cream together.
- Add green onions.
- Place 1/3 of noodles in a buttered 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
- Spread 1/3 cream cheese over noodles, top with 1/3 meat sauce.
- Repeat layers.
- Sprinkle cheese.
- Bake uncovered at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
