Brisket

  1. Marinate by sprinkling vinegar and seasonings over meat.
  2. Cover and refrigerate 12 hours.
  3. Place meat in broiler pan and brown at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
  4. Transfer to Dutch oven.
  5. Slice onion over top of meat.
  6. Mix drippings from browning pan with 1 can beer, 1/3 cup chili sauce and 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
  7. Add enough water to total 2 cups liquid.
  8. Cover; bake at 325u0b0 for 4 hours.
  9. Cool in liquid and refrigerate until cold.
  10. Slice when cold.
  11. When ready to serve, heat in 200u0b0 oven for 1 hour.
  12. Gravy will be thin.
