Soft Tacos(Like Chi-Chi'S)
- 1 pkg. flour tortillas (burrito style)
- 1 pkg. Lipton Spanish rice, mixed as directed
- 2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 to 2 lb. ground turkey, beef or cooked chopped chicken
- 8 oz. taco sauce
- 1 jar salsa
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 12 oz. taco cheese or Cheddar cheese
- chopped lettuce
- chopped green onions
- sour cream (optional)
- Brown meat in skillet.
- Mix Spanish rice as directed.
- Spoon 2 tablespoons sauce in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Set out a burrito.
- Put 2 tablespoons rice, 2 tablespoons meat, cheese and salsa.
- Roll side to side, moving filling in center.
- Fold edges over like envelope. Place fold side down in pan.
- Continue until all are placed in pan.
- Cover with taco sauce and cheese.
- Microwave for 3 minutes, or bake 15 minutes in a 350u0b0 oven.
- Take out and serve topped with lettuce, onions and sour cream.
