Favorite Noodle Casserole
- 1 lb. ground beef, browned, drained
- 1 whole bag of eggs noodles, cooked, drained
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 (2 1/4) can olives, drained
- 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 tsp. oregano
- salt & pepper to taste
- Brown beef and cook noodles.
- Saute onion and pepper in butter till tender.
- Add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, and oregano. Add the browned beef and simmer 10 minutes.
- Place half of the noodles into greased casserole pan.
- Top with half of ground beef mixture.
- Sprinkle with 1 c. of cheese.
- Repeat.
- Mix soup and water till smooth and pour over the noodles.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0F for 30-35 min.
- Spaghetti can be used instead of noodles.
