Pizza By The Yard

  1. Brown beef.
  2. Drain.
  3. Add next 6 ingredients.
  4. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Prepare dough as directed.
  6. Lightly oil a large baking sheet and roll dough into a 14 x 16-inch rectangle.
  7. Place the meat filling lengthwise down the center.
  8. Cover only the center third of the dough.
  9. With a knife, cut into the dough every 2-inches on each side.
  10. Cross the strips diagonally over the filling, creating a braided look.
  11. Tuck in the ends.
  12. Let rise 5 to 10 minutes.
  13. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  14. Top with tomato, green pepper slices and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  15. Bake 5 minutes.
  16. Serves 10 to 12.
