Super Bowl Chili
- 4 lb. flank or round steak, cubed
- 3 lb. chili-ground chuck
- 3 large onions, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. garlic, finely chopped
- 3 Tbsp. oregano
- 5 Tbsp. cumin
- 2 Tbsp. instant coffee
- 3 Tbsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. coriander
- 2 Tbsp. table mustard
- 7 to 9 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3 soup cans beef broth
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes, mashed
- 1 soup can tomato sauce
- 2 bell peppers, put through food processor
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 jalapeno peppers (canned), put through food processor
- salt and pepper to taste
- red pepper to taste
- 2 pinches Williams seasoning (anything else that occurs to you)
- Brown onions, garlic and meat in large pot.
- Dump everything else in and simmer about 5 hours.
- Will serve 14 to 16 men. Freezes well.
