Hamburger Noodles
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 garlic clove
- dash of pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 pkg. broad noodles (8 oz.)
- 6 medium green onions
- 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 pt. sour cream
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- Melt butter in large frying pan.
- Brown meat; add garlic, salt, pepper, sugar and tomato sauce.
- Simmer for 20 minutes (cover).
- Cook noodles (drain).
- Cut green onions into pieces. Place in blender with sour cream and cream cheese.
- Blend until smooth.
- Place 1/3 of noodles in 2-quart casserole dish, then 1/3 of cheese mixture and 1/3 of meat, layering, ending with meat. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
