Picadillo
- 2 lb. ground chuck
- 1 1/2 c. chopped green onion
- 2 tsp. garlic
- 2/3 c. green pepper
- 16 oz. can whole tomatoes, undrained
- 2 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans consomme beef broth
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 (8 oz.) can pimentos, drained
- 1 (6 oz.) can ripe olives, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 c. blanched almonds
- 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, chopped
- 1 c. raisins
- Brown meat.
- Add everything else and bring to boil.
- Let simmer for several hours.
- Good served with Doritos.
