Louise'S Makeshift Lasagna
- 1 large jar Ragu thick and zesty sauce
- 1/2 jar of water
- 1/4 c. minced parsley
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 green pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 lb. ground beef (lean)
- 1 lb. pasta noodles (shells)
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- Mix together Ragu sauce, hot water, parsley, oregano, basil and garlic powder and let stand. Cook ground beef until brown, stirring to crumble. Add green pepper and sauce mixture and simmer for 5 minutes. Cook pasta layer in a rectangular pan with hot sauce, using grated Mozzarella between layers of pasta and ending with hot sauce. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top and bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour.
