Mexican Beef Kabobs
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian salad dressing mix
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/3 c. orange juice
- 1 lb. top round steak, cut into 12 to 16-inch cubes
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- 1 green pepper in 16 chunks
- 1 onion, cut in 12 wedges
- Combine water and vinegar in jar with tight-fitting lid.
- Add salad dressing mix and chili powder.
- Shake well.
- Add oil and fruit juice and shake again.
- Pour over meat cubes in glass bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Drain and reserve marinade. Place meat and vegetables on 4 long skewers.
- Broil in preheated broiler or over glowing coals for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, brushing frequently with reserved marinade.
