Mashed Potato Casserole
- 8 c. peeled, quartered potatoes (2 1/2 lb.)
- 1/2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
- 1 pkg. Philadelphia brand cream cheese, softened (8 oz.)
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Paprika
- Add potatoes and enough water to cover in 4 quart saucepan. Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to medium; cook 25 to 30 minutes or until tender.
- Drain well.
- Mash potatoes, gradually stirring in salad dressing, cream cheese, onion powder, salt and pepper until light and fluffy.
- Spoon into 1 1/2 quart casserole.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Cover tightly and freeze.
- To serve, thaw casserole.
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Bake
- 1-1 1/4 hours or until thoroughly heated.
- Serves 10 to 12.
- (Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes if you don't freeze casserole.)
