Candy Bar Cookies

  1. Cream margarine, powdered sugar, vanilla, Pet evaporated milk and flour.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Chill.
  4. Roll out on floured surface to 12-inch rectangle.
  5. Cut into 3 x 1 1/2-inch rectangles.
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 325u0b0 for 12 to 16 minutes. When cookies are cool, mix caramels and Pet milk.
  7. Heat until caramels melt.
  8. Stir occasionally.
  9. Remove from heat; stir in oleo, powdered sugar and pecans.
  10. Put 1 teaspoon this filling on each cookie.
  11. Very good!
