Ham And Asparagus Pie

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  2. Stir in next 3 ingredients. Remove from heat.
  3. Gradually stir in milk until smooth.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sauce comes to a boil. Boil for 1 minute.
  5. Stir small amount of sauce into mayonnaise, then stir into mixture in saucepan.
  6. Add ham, asparagus and lemon juice; cook until heated.
  7. Turn into pie shell.
  8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Broil about 2 minutes, until lightly browned.
  10. Serves 6.
