Turkey Tetrazzini
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
- oleo
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 3/4 c. milk
- 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms
- 1 chicken flavored bouillon cube
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 slices white bread
- 2 c. cubed cooked turkey
- About 1 hour before serving, in saucepot, cook spaghetti as label directs, drain and return to saucepot.
- Meanwhile, over medium heat, in a 2-quart saucepan in oleo, cook onion until tender.
- Stir in flour until blended.
- Gradually stir in milk, mushrooms with their liquid, bouillon and salt.
- Cook, stirring until mixture is slightly thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
- Tear bread into crumbs.
- Add to 3 tablespoons melted oleo.
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Add sauce mixture and turkey to spaghetti.
- Spoon into 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
- Top with bread crumbs.
- Bake 20 to 30 minutes.
- Makes 6 servings.
