Spaghetti And Meat Sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. your favorite pasta
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley
- 2 (28 oz.) cans tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. dried basil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 green pepper
- 20 mushrooms
- In a 5-quart Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat.
- Add onion, garlic, parsley and ground beef; cook 10 minutes or until browned.
- In blender container, place 1 can of tomatoes; blend
- on high speed 30 seconds or until chopped.
- Hand squash the second can of tomatoes.
- Add to onion mixture.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 to 3 hours.
- Serve over your favorite pasta.
