Turkey And Carrots In Orange Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 6 to 8 medium carrots, cut diagonally in 1/2-inch slices
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2/3 c. orange juice
- 1/8 tsp. basil leaves
- 1/3 c. sliced onions
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 pkg. turkey breast tenderloins
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- pepper
- Heat oleo in medium skillet over medium-high heat until melted. Cook turkey in oleo mixture until brown.
- Place turkey and carrots in a shallow 2-quart casserole.
- Mix brown sugar and cornstarch in a small bowl.
- Stir in orange juice, garlic salt, basil and pepper. Pour over turkey and carrots.
- Add onion over top.
- Cover and bake at 350u0b0 about 1 1/4 hours or until carrots are done.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
