Goulash Soup

  1. Saute onion diced fine in 4 tablespoons margarine until tender.
  2. Add paprika. Cook until bubbly.
  3. Put in bowl and set aside. In same pan, melt 4 tablespoons margarine and cubed beef, which has been floured.
  4. Cook until browned.
  5. Add onion, paprika mixture, beef broth and 1 can water.
  6. Heat to boiling, stirring. Add tomato sauce and 1 can water.
  7. Once again, heat to boiling, add potatoes which have been diced.
  8. Reduce heat to simmer.
  9. Simmer at least 2 to 4 hours.
  10. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
