Enchilada Pie
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 1 (14 oz.) pkg. tortillas
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 can chicken or mushroom soup
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Brown meat, onions and garlic over medium heat.
- Add next 7 ingredients.
- Cook 5 minutes.
- Line 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish with torn tortillas.
- Top with meat mixture and more tortillas. (Layer meat and tortillas.)
- Pour soup and milk mixed over and top with layer of cheese sprinkled evenly over all.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
- Serves 8 to 10.
