Thai Style Burgers

  1. 1. Prepare a medium hot fire on your grill (I have gas grill).
  2. 2. Combine beef, peanut butter, sour cream, soy sauce, lime juice, cilantro, ginger, brown sugar, red pepper, salt and black pepper (cayenne opitonal) in a large bowl, blending well with your hands. Shape into 6 patties 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch thick.
  3. 3. Place directly over coals, cover and grill to your desired degree of doneness, 5-7 minutes for medium rare.
  4. 4. Place burgers on buns and top with lettuce tomatoes and onions and BBQ sauce.
  5. **Chef Note: I skip #4 and like to top with my favorite Asian/Thai slaw- I have also found that a thin layer of peanut butter (as crazy as it sounds) on the bun gives it an amazing Thai flavor. Enjoy!
