Fresh Apple Cake 2

  1. Combine the sugar, oil and eggs in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Sift flour with soda and salt; stir into the sugar mixture.
  3. Add apples and 1 cup nuts; beat well.
  4. Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch pans.
  5. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 40 minutes; cool.
  6. Soften the cream cheese into a bowl.
  7. Add margarine and cream well.
  8. Add vanilla.
  9. Add powdered sugar alternately with milk and stir in remaining nuts.
  10. Spread between layers and over top and sides of cake.
