Lasagna
- 2 lb. ground beef, browned
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 Tbsp. basil or Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. tomatoes
- 16 oz. can tomato paste
- 10 oz. pkg. noodles
- 2 (12 oz.) cartons large curd cottage cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- Mozzarella cheese
- Brown ground beef.
- Add oil, garlic, parsley flakes, basil or Italian seasoning, salt, tomatoes and tomato paste.
- Simmer for 1 hour.
- Cook noodles and a little salt.
- Add oil to water so noodles won't stick.
- Mix cottage cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and 2 tablespoons parsley flakes.
- Layer in pan the noodles, cheese mixture, meat sauce and top with Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake until cheese on top melts.
