Chocolate Outrage Snack Cake

  1. In a large bowl, combine butter or margarine, oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, eggs, walnuts and vanilla.
  2. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed until fluffy.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
  4. Spread batter in an 8-inch square micro-safe pan.
  5. Cover with wax paper; microwave on High 4 minutes.
  6. Rotate 1/4 turn; microwave on High 4 to 5 minutes or until top appears dry and bottom is an even color. Sprinkle remaining chips over top of warm cake.
  7. Let stand 10 minutes and spread evenly over cake.
