Microwave Beef Stuffed Peppers
- 4 medium size green peppers
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 (14 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 c. seasoned croutons, crushed
- 1 tsp. dried onion flakes
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 lb. ground chuck
- grated Parmesan cheese
- Cut off tops of green peppers and remove seeds.
- Wash peppers. Combine egg, 3/4 cup spaghetti sauce and next 4 ingredients, stirring well.
- Stuff peppers with meat mixture and place peppers in a lightly greased 8-inch baking dish.
- Cover loosely with wax paper.
- Microwave on High 12 to 14 minutes giving dish a half turn after 6 minutes.
- Spoon a small amount of remaining spaghetti sauce over tops of peppers; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Heat remaining spaghetti sauce and serve with peppers.
- Serves 4.
